Zulfi Syed

Model turned actor Zulfi Sayed got the biggest break of his career when he participated in the Big Boss show on television and became an overnight hero. Unfortunately, for him, all that attention did not translate into many more film roles. The actor began his career as a model and shot to fame when he won the Gladrags Manhunt in 1997. It gave him an entry into Bollywood in a film called 'Pyaasa' opposite Yukta Mookhey and Aftab Shivdasani. Even though film hardly made any waves, he found himself doing a lot of ad films, modelling as well as many music videos. Later Akbar Khan casted him as Prince Khurram and the young Shah Jahan in his 'Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story' in 2005. This film too was not a commercial success but it has kept Zulfi in circulation. He has a couple of films on hand but nothing of any real consequence.
