Saloni began her career as a model for reputed brands like Vaseline, Parachute, Godrej, Easy and dozens of other brands. Not satisfied with just clothes hanging, she joined Ashok Kumar's Acting Academy and did theatre with the Kala Sansad Group. She also learnt folk dancing with Mrs. Pange. Saloni made her debut as the female lead in Saawan Kumar's film 'Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa', a patriotic film where she plays the role of a Pakistani girl in love with an India.
